A front desk AI in development for hotels

Meet
Gustave.

A voice assistant for hotel reservations. Explore a fictional booking, then see the front desk workflows we are building next.

Fictional demo hotel — no real reservation or payment.

GUSTAVENOTES FROM THE FRONT DESK

The beginning
of a good stay.

A considered conversation.
A carefully reviewed reservation.

IN DEVELOPMENTDRAFT V0.2

Courtesy in the conversation.

Clarity in the details.

Your team at the centre.

The idea

A warm welcome.
A clear next step.

Hotel calls are full of small details that matter: a date corrected, a room explained, a request passed to the right person.

We are building Gustave to listen, ask one focused question and give the guest time to answer. The first local prototype centres on reservations. These are the workflows we are developing around it.

Around the front desk

Room to be helpful.

Every workflow has a visible availability label. A plan is a direction, with qualification still to come.

Reservations

From dates to a reviewed reservation.

A local reservation prototype underpins the plan: check availability, explain the quoted total and terms, then ask the guest to review before confirming.

Planned for v0.2

Property questions

Your hotel’s answers, from approved information.

Room details, restaurant hours and house policies for the selected property. When an answer is missing, the plan is to say so and offer staff assistance.

Planned for v0.2

Requests during a stay

A request your staff can follow.

Capture a housekeeping or maintenance request, assign it and show when a team member accepts it. Staff acknowledgement and completed service are separate steps.

Planned for v0.2

Staff assistance

A person when the guest needs one.

Connect the caller to staff with the permitted context needed to continue. Accepted transfers and recovery when no one answers still need qualification.

Planned for v0.2

Returning guests & direct bookings

A more considered return visit.

Next, measure answered calls, verified bookings and cancellations. Later, explore repeat-guest recognition and consented follow-up with the right hotel connections.

Roadmap

The language of your guests

Built around
Arabic and English.

Our v0.2 evaluation plan covers Gulf Arabic, language switching and the details that matter in a reservation.

أهلاً وسهلاً

A warm welcome.

A written greeting, not a voice sample.
Human listening and reservation-detail checks remain part of the qualification plan.

The reservation demo plan.

Two fictional properties. One carefully reviewed stay.
This is an illustrative walkthrough; a public voice demo is planned.

ILLUSTRATIVE STEP 1 OF 3

Two guests, a room and a few dates.

The planned conversation asks for dates, guest count and room preferences, one focused question at a time.

These describe future workflows. Service requests need staff acceptance; transfers need a person to answer.

The next chapter

Built with the
hotel in mind.

Planned for v0.2

Make the work visible.

Confirmed messages, approved property answers and commercial reporting with clear definitions.

Roadmap

Connect thoughtfully.

Hotel integrations, loyalty, more guest channels and connected dining or spa bookings, each qualified separately.

A conversation to prepare

Start with your front desk.

Identify your frequent calls, approved hotel information, staff routes and reservation system before choosing a pilot scope.

For your own front desk

Prepare a
hotel brief.

Start with the calls your team knows best. Keep a few details ready for a future discussion about fit and a scoped pilot.
